Fuck Cancer
This month I’m giving to the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

I am sad to say that three weeks ago, on on June 29, 2025, my dad fought his last day with Leukemia. He went peacefully with family around him, holding his hands till the end.

About 30 minutes before his passing — we didn’t know this at the time — the family (kids and adults) gathered around him to say some words.
My wife and I had recently watched the show called The Pitt — strange mention, but roll with me here — where the main character walked a grieving family through a Hawaiian practice called Ho'oponopono. It’s 4 statements to help say goodbye to a loved one and/or to help with grief after:
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me. (I forgive you)*
I love you.
Thank you.
This really helped. It has been 3 weeks and I am more grateful everyday I was able to say these words to him.
I highly encourage the use of this technique if you feel the need <3

At first I wasn’t sure if I should be making this post, but fuck it, cancer wins by spreading in our bodies, so we win by spreading the word. We got our best minds on a cure, they just need some money.
If you, or someone you know or are close to is going through this, just know you have me cheering you on and my heart goes out to you. Let’s keep the fight going.
